THE RETELLINGS: Charlie Brown Christmas

On December 9th, 1965, A Charlie Brown Christmas premiered to over 15 million viewers, and has aired every year since. But many don’t know the story of how it came to be, and how it almost never aired.

That’s where Brooklyn’s finest improvisers step in. You’ll not only meet Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the whole gang, but the figures that put the special together, including Charles Schulz, Lee Mendelson, and “Coca-Cola guy”.

Let Thomas Fricilone, narrator and host, guide you through the story of one of the greatest Christmas specials of all time, A Charlie Brown Christmas, while a cast of improvisers sweat out the small details.
